ENERGY BALLS
OKAY YA’LL so this is one of my favorite recipes. I’ve put it on my IG stories before and have gotten questions so I figured why not put it in a blog post so you can come back and make it any time you want!
This is a great little healthy snack to keep in your fridge that is easy to make and gives you that little bit of chocolatey goodness that you crave when you’re trying to eat healthy!
So here is what you’ll need:
1 cup dry old fashioned oats
2/3 cup of toasted coconut flakes (if you have them at home, this recipe is still good without them)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup flax seed
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup honey
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla
So basically you’re going to combine all together until it is thoroughly mixed. Cover and let it chill in the refrigerator for about 30 min. Remove and roll them into balls. Store them in an air tight container and tada! You’re done! You have a little healthy treat in your fridge for the next week or as long as they last! Trust me they go quick because they’re so yummy!
