HAIR & SKIN CARE HAUL
So I recently went NUTS during the Sephora and Ulta sales and got lots and lots of goodies I want to share with you!
Lets start with hair care! I got some new (well new to me) Ouai products. I decided to try their medium hold hairspray and the finishing creme. I've been on the hunt for a good hair spray that holds but doesn't make your hair all crunchy because nobody wants that! So far I've really been loving it! It does exactly what I wanted it to do! I've been using the finishing creme on those mornings when you wake up and you're like I probably should have washed my hair last night! It's perfect on those greasy days to slick down your hair into a low bun or pony. Now that's what I call a life hack! I also picked up a purple shampoo because ever since I decided to start balayaging (if thats a word) my hair I've needed something to help when it starts to get too yellow and brassy. I got the dpHUE cool blonde shampoo. I've only just started using it so I'll have to report back with what I actually think! And for the final hair product I needed a new dry shampoo. I have yet to find one that I love! (If you have any good ones leave me a comment below!) I've heard some great stuff about IGK so I decided to try out their direct flight multi-tasking dry shampoo and I mean so far so good. Again I'll have to report back on that one too!
Now moving onto to skin care (my favorite)! I'm always down to try new skin care products, especially when it comes to serums and oils. So I made sure to snag some at a discount that I've been dying to try! First up I grabbed the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil and so far so GOOD! I've actually been loving it despite the mixed reviews I had read online. I put it on before I go to bed and I swear my skin has been looking better and my pores have been looking smaller which is amazing! I also decided to grab the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum. This one I use during the day in my morning skin care routine. Now, so far I like it however the smell is god awful. If you can get past the smell then I think its definitely worth the investment! Lastly I got a new day time moisturizer. I like to use a light yet super moisturizing one during the day and then a super heavy duty one at night considering I have INCREDIBLY dry skin! Like give me an old lady heavy moisturizer before I go to bed! I've had my eye on the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream for a while so I finally picked it up. I couldn't be happier about it! It smells so good and is so moisturizing I love it!
