TOP 5 MUST LISTEN PODCASTS
OKAY YA’LL. Anybody else out there listen to podcasts as much as I do?? I love listening to them on my way to work. I find it more interesting than listening to music somedays and there are seriously some great podcasts out there. I rounded up my top 5 that I think everyone should give a listen. This collection is pretty random so there is definitely something for everybody here! Let me know in the comments if you listen to any of these podcasts too or if you have any podcast recommendations for me! You can listen to any of these in the podcast app and some even on spotify!
The Morning Toast
GOOOOD MORNING MILLENIALS! This is the millennial morning show. If you like popculture, bravo, celeb gossip, etc. then you have to be listening to this podcast. It’s my absolute favorite. They also live stream on youtube Monday-Friday at 10:30 everyday in addition to posting podcast episodes. If you haven’t been introduced to Claudia (@girlwithnojob) or her sister Jackie (@jackieoproblems) I truly don’t know where you’ve been. I can’t recommend this enough. Seriously. I could probably do an entire post on this alone and what an amazing community of women it has opened me up to so I’ll just stop it here! Just go listen yourself, you won’t be sorry!

This is honestly just a good laugh. I don’t know if anyone watches youtube, but if you do you’ve probably heard of David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad. This is David and Jason Nash’s weekly podcast and they basically just shoot the shit. David is 22 and Jason is 45 so their dynamic is hilarious. (I feel like I should mention you don’t need to watch their channels to understand what’s going on!) It’s super interesting to listen to them talk about different topics or news stories and hear their opinions since their ages give them such different perspectives on things. I find myself yelling at them in my car some days disagreeing or agreeing with what they’re saying! If you’re looking to laugh I would definitely give this one a listen!
Martinis & Murder
My mom and I started listening to this together on a road trip this summer and we just fell in love with these two! Daryn Carp (aka Andy Cohen’s assistant) and John Thrasher are great. They dive into different famous murder cases from the past and it is super interesting. They basically just go over the facts of each case, lay out all the information, and give their own commentary all while drinking a thematic cocktail! I find it so interesting listening to any true crime or murder mystery podcasts so if that’s something you’re looking for I would definitely recommend this one!
Dirty John
If you haven’t listened to Dirty John yet where have you been. It’s blowing up right now because Bravo just aired a mini series about this podcast. This is a true story about this women who starts online dating and meets this man named John. Things move very quick in their relationship and there are plenty of red flags along the way. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just leave it at that. Seriously just listen to this podcast. It is SO interesting and gave me the chills. SERIOUSLY! Also, I would recommend listening to the podcast first before watching the show. There are more details in the podcast and the show obviously adds things that aren’t in the podcast to make the story flow better for television.
The only child
This is a new podcast i’ve been listening to by Arielle Vandenberg. I was first introduced to her on vine and now I follow her instagram. She is so funny and you’ve probably even seen her in some commercials. I like this podcast because she is best friends with a ton of celebrities and those are her guests on the show. So far she has had on Lauren Paul (Aaron Paul’s wife) Ashley Greene, and Derek Hough. Its super interesting getting to listen to these celebrities because the person interviewing them is a good friend so they’re much more relaxed. And since Arielle herself is so funny it’s really easy to listen to. Also i’m an only child too so it’s easy to relate!
