CRANBERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
OKAY YA’LL back with another recipe, and if you didn’t know I LOVE making cookies! I just love cookies so much so it’s always the thing I want to bake if i’m craving a treat! I will definitely be adding more of my favorite cookies recipes here so stay tuned!
So this recipe I tried during the holidays but I wasn’t in love with the original recipe. The original recipe is from Megan Reinks so i’ll link hers here. I played around with her recipe a little and I think I figured out how to make it perfect for my liking!
So without further a do here is recipe! Let me know if you guys try these!
Ingredients:
3/4 stick butter
3/4 cups of brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 & 1/4 cup of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
3/4 cup dried cranberries
Preheat your oven to 350. First, in a stand mixer or with hand held electric mixer, whip the butter for about a minute. Add both the sugars until it become light and fluffy. Add in the egg, and beat. Add in vanilla and almond extract and beat again.
In another bowl sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. I find that sifting your dry ingredients truly makes all the difference so I highly recommend sifting them instead of whisking! Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet until combined.
Add in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries with a wooden spoon. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes just to cool down the butter. Cold butter is the trick to not letting your cookies spread! Once chilled, use a cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto lined cookie sheets. Bake for about 8 minutes (I like to rotate mine half way through to ensure an even bake). And that is it! Delicious sweet cookies!
Hope you try these out and enjoy!
