LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE - YES YOU HEARD ME!

OKAY YA'LL lets talk about lymphatic drainage and facial massages. It's something I've really become invested in recently thanks to The Skinny Confidential. And if you haven't heard of The Skinny Confidential where have you been!? She has literally taught me everything I know on this subject and I'm here to pass on the amazing tips!

There are SO many benefits to stimulating the lymphatic system. 

  • promotes healing and reduces headaches
  • eliminates excessive fluids and toxins
  • promotes blood circulation and strengthens muscles
  • can help fine lines and dark circles

Also I should mention I like to do this before bed because I can really take my time with it and not rush but you can absolutely do this in the morning when you're getting ready too!

Things you will need : your favorite serum, moisturizer, oil, and a facial massager.

STEP ONE: Apply your serum and moisturizer.

After cleansing your face and toning, I always like to go in with my serum first. I personally like to use a vitamin c serum, but whatever works for your skin is good! After a minute or so letting it skin in I apply my moisturizer. Recently I've really been loving this one from Fresh Beauty

STEP TWO: Apply your oil.

I love to use oils at night! I go to bed looking like a grease ball but its so worth it. Right now I've been loving this one from Sunday Riley, but again use any oil that works for your skin. I hear Rosehip Oil is really good too, but I have yet to try it. 

STEP THREE: Get that facial massager out!

Now listen, it sounds crazy but stick with me. Facial massagers can be SO expensive! But if you're willing to invest I would highly recommend this one from Clarisonic. BUT, if you're like me and you would rather save your money for something else, The Skinny Confidential has saved us all with this 9 dollar hack! Guys, its a vibrator! I swear it's the most perfect dupe and you can get it off amazon which is even better! So you always want to start at your nose, go out to your ears and pull it down your neck. Bring it gently around your eyes and all over your face. You can do this anywhere from 2 minute to 10! It's really up to you! I like to set up my phone on netflix or something and watch a show while I do my whole routine.
